Welding

Our team of certified welding engineers (EWE) is authorized in a wide range of specialized services. We apply our extensive experience and high-tech equipment to REL, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding for:

• New Builds: Diverse types of new aluminum and steel boats.
• Fabrication: Various steel constructions and stainless steel elements (stairs, railings, and girders).
• Repair Welding: Grey and steel casting, high and low-alloy stainless steel, and aluminum and copper alloys.

Iskra Shipyard holds the Certificate of Manufacturer Approval from the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) for the “ability to perform welding works in shipbuilding repairs and ship-engineering.” This certification is subject to regular review by the CRS and the European Welding Federation (EWF).

We perform ship fitting, fabrication, and repair of equipment using steel, stainless steel (INOX), and aluminum, including:

• Cargo Equipment: Hatchways, decks, platforms, masts, and derricks.
• Ship Equipment: Rudders and mooring equipment.
• Installation: Ladders, rails, gangways, and davits.
• Hull Maintenance: Replacement and repair of steel and aluminum hull parts.
